Creative Minds for Mental Health (CMMH)
We are a group of individuals who are interested in promoting Mental Health recovery through
the Creative Arts.
Our first event, in 2007, showcased artists who were either consumers of Mental Health
services with disabilities or supporters of Mental Health in Southeast Missouri, or both.

How did we get here? (What We Do)
This was born from an idea and a question. "Do you think the Ste Genevieve Art Guild would
be interested in supporting an art exhibit of work done by consumers of Mental Health
services?" The idea developed from there.
Currently, we are developing an annual event which gives the opportunity for consumers and
interested individuals to collaborate in showcasing and selling their creative artistic talents. A
percentage of proceeds from each sale is donated to a fund which allows individuals with
mental health disabilities to travel and experience regional educational and recreational
opportunities, which they normally would not be able to do.
